Siruvapuri Murugan Holy Wedding.

Siruvapuri Murugan temple: 30 kms  from Koyambedu bus stand ( Chennai ) in the Gummidipoondi- Kavarapettai bus route.We have to get down at siruvapuri new road stop.Temple 3 kms  west.This temple history is connected with Ramayana.It is said that Lava & Kusa , the children of Sri Seeta Rama , here fought with Sri. Rama without knowing  Him as  their father with bow & arrows.Since the the children took arrow to fight,this place is called "சிறுவரம்பேடு "சிறுவர் + அம்பு +எடு - in Tamil.Saint Arunagirinathar has sung Holy songs in Tamil - Thiruppugazh  praising God Muruga.Those who wish to build new houses used to visit this temple & offer prayers.Arunagiriyaar has sung Thirppugazh song "அண்டர்பதி குடியேற " in which he says God Muruga rescues the lost kingdom of Devendra( heaven ) by defeating the devil forces & gives it to him.Photos show the "grand wedding of God Balasubramanya with Goddes Valli".See how the sculptors  have brought the  real wedding scenes,the smile on the face of the bride groom .bride looking down & holy feet of Goddess showing the anklets
